Greetings to all from the campus in Messailler!  We are happy to share with all of you that we have arrived safely and have been welcomed most graciously by our Haitian brothers and sisters.  For those of you that have been to Haiti before, the landscape is quite different from what you have seen before.  There are many dense congregations of tents in both the city and the countryside where the Haitians have relocated due to the loss or partial destruction of their homes.   It is a sobering sight that helps to remind us of our important commitment to help the Haitians rebuild their lives and come alongside them with loving support as brothers in Christ.  Throughout the coming week you will be able to read about our experiences here and share in the daily goings on by browsing through photos that will be linked to the daily blog posts.  Thank you for your interest, support, love and prayers.  I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say I can’t wait to get some shut eye…. until tomorrow.  Blessings and love from all of us!

Dear friends (especially Cheryl Hardy!),
I hope you are filled with loads of peace tonight as you rest and in the morning when you face the day and all it’s challenges, joys, surprises, and adventures.

John C. Maxwell said that, “A leader lives with people to know their problems. A leader lives with God in order to solve them” and so I pray that while you are in Haiti your heart(s) will be open not only to our siblings’ needs but also to our God’s supply – to His unfathomable love and his greatness.
Even in the midst of the rubble, may you see Jesus’ face beaming over His bride as she walks in strength, grace & purpose, extending her hands to the poor among us… wherever that may be, and however you can.
Each day is a miracle, and you are a part of the story God is writing :) We are praying for you! Spend every minute in His presence and we will never be afraid or discouraged for long, because He is greater than any temptation, anxiety or evil we come up against.
And remember that, “We are all pencils in the hand of God.” (Mother Teresa )
Love you Cheryl!

We are praying for you all.

Good Sunday to the team!

It’s a great thing for you to be over there and helping, I’m sure the haitian people greatly appreciated. I’m with you in spirit. I’ll keep you all in my prayers. May the most high bless you all and keep you safe!
